10K and Counting!
I've hit 10,000 words last night with my new book, Pride Asunder!
Oh boy, I just made my goal last night by the skin of my little chin chin. The average words I made as a goal was 2167 per day, and I wrote 2172 or something like that. I was writing right up until the last minute, but I made it. Phew!
Today, is Friday and the third day of NaNoWriMo. Hopefully, by now, your writing hands are warmed up and your brains are kicking into gear. Mine our turning and turning as my story gets farther along, the words begin to flow and I stop having to push myself; they just write themselves.
Tip of the Day;
Space out the time you sit and write. A little bit at a time can really build up by the end of every day. Sit down for just 15 or 20 minutes every hour and write one or two paragraphs. Then, drop it and take a break. Repeat. By the end of the day, you'll be surprised at your word count!
